The qualifications for Membership shall be determined by the Management Committee in default of any determination are as follows:-

 

Company Owner/Director Members

 (PCODIR)

Members who are owners or directors of an independent conference management company whose primary role is the management of conferences and events for clients

 

Independent Members

 (PCOIM)

Members who are employed as managers and event staff of independent conference management companies whose primary role is the management of conferences and events for clients and who has more than 3 years experience in meeting management.

 

Independent Associate Members

 (PCOIAM)

Members who are employed as managers and event staff of independent conference management companies whose primary role is the management of conferences and events for clients who have less than three years experience.

 

Corporate Members

 (PCOCM)

Members who are employed by a company whose primary role is the management of corporate meetings and who has more than 3 years experience in meeting management.

 

Corporate Associate Members

 (PCOCAM)

Members who are employed by a company whose primary role is the management of corporate meetings and who has less than 3 years experience in meeting management.

 

Association Members

 (PCOAM)

Members who are employed by a company whose primary role is the management of association meetings and who has more than 3 years experience in meeting management

 

Association Associate Members

 (PCOAAM)

Members who are employed by a company whose primary role is the management of association meetings and who has less than 3 years experience in meeting management

 

Government Members

 (PCOGM)

Members who are employed by a government agency whose primary role is the management of government meetings and who have more than 3 years experience in meeting management

 

Government Associate Members

 (PCOGAM)

Members who are employed by a government agency whose primary role is the management of government meetings and who has less than 3 years experience in meeting management

 

Conference Educators

 (PCOEd)

Members who provide education and training, at a tertiary level, for all the other classes of members indicated above

 

Event Manager Members

 (PCOEMM)

Members whose prime responsabilty/function is the organisation of events as opposed to conferences and meetings.

 

Once you have completed the online membership form, you will receive an automated email response notifying you that your application has been received. 

 

New member applications are reviewed on a monthly basis, so please allow up to five weeks to receive an additional email notifying you regarding the success or not of your application.

 

Your application may be rejected without any reason being given.

 

The Association has access to a large email data base (over 18.000) of Companies and Associations who hold conferences, meetings and events.

 

The online membership list will be promoted to this group via monthly newsletters.

 

The Association is forming alliances with like minded organisations in the USA, UK, Asia and Europe, to assist the promotion of members to international organisations.
